Last night was held the Award Ceremony of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie 2010 at the Grand Theatre of Geneva.

Beautiful car, very stylish guests, Place Neuve shone its lights.

It was a beautiful venue to host the nominees and winners, the most beautiful bouquet of flowers Haute-Horlogerie.

For a list of winners, you will find on the site worldtempus.com.

A VIP Services Blog, we chose instead to list a series of names, to highlight some of the winning watches, to explain how they are jewels of ingenuity, technology and art, like all Moreover, the nominees and others who were not there.Let’s start with the price of the watch Dame

The Bridge of Love by Van Cleef & Arpels watch the new trend that makes women more and more women interested in the complications that are not here for more accuracy and convenience, but an ode to poetry .

It comes back to a magical view of mechanics devoted to poetry and dreams, as in modern times in history, and the parallel with the PLC is brilliantly illustrated here.

It represents the time in a linear form (As, moreover, that Cottier and Albert had imagined, remember),and the man in the pink of minutes and the woman kissing the umbrella of hours at midday andmidnight, and the girl rushed ten minutes before

A beautiful evocation of the Pont des Arts and its padlock symbol of love symbolized on the dial at the bottom of the grid.

The system is a double retrograde mastered by Jean-Marc Wiedderhecht on a Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 846.

A tribute to romanticism infused with technology: The Art and poetry, which was presented at the HISS 2010 and deserves this prestigious award.

We now turn to the purists have been waiting for: The Grand Prize of the High Complication, which was awarded to FP Journe Chronometer Resonance for a bold reinterpretation commemorating the tenth anniversary of the model.

The display is on 24 hours instead of 9 of the dial heures.Comme its name suggests, everything is based on the phenomenon of resonance.

The movement in 18 carat pink gold, the two pendulums using resonance on sapphire, and the gear ratio turns the needles now 24.

It is said that this watch would be one of the most accurate market at this time through the application of physical transmission of sound waves: the two pendulums and balance the natural transmission that every body makes to destroy the interference due to this law physics.

The result is a watch with a classic elegant line that hides within it a true wonder of complications ..

Finally, the Audience Prize: the reissue of the ultra-fine Vacheron Constantin 1955, at the time one of the flattest in the world under the slogan

movement of 1.64 mm thick, with its three famous Calibre 1003 timepiece, 18-karat gold and bearing the stamp of Geneva, just for the sake of simplicity bridal beauty, and also because this brand has always had the heart to share the jewels are its mechanisms and movements, the demonstration below :

We conclude with the award for best designer worker assigned to Jean Francois Mojon, and the Special Jury Prize for the Horological Academy of Independent Creators, proof that all sensitivities were meant honored during the ceremony
