Of all time the sellers of roast meat were actors of the world of the Cooking and sublimated the most beautiful games in medieval fireplaces and gigantic roasting spit such as in the big historic houses. So it is in the restaurant ” La Broche ” of which Philippe Berzane holds the reins 36 angle rue du Stand and 8 rue de l’Arquebuse – 1204 in Geneva which the big specialities are the chickens, the legs of lamb and the oxen in the Brooch and which is soon going to celebrate its ten years …



Geneva, October 18th, 2011. The organizers hoped for 4 ‘ 000 visitors and they were about 6 ‘ 000 who came to crunch some chocolate the last weekend during the first International Chocolatiers and Chocolate Exhibition which was held in the Building of driving Strengths in Geneva.
On Friday, October 21st, Noon, I arrive at Jiva Hill to discover like the other ones invited from the regional and national press, the new chef of the house. During a very nice apéritif in the bar of the hotel, we meet “Emmanuel Ollivier”, around a glass and some housemade appetizers.
